Founded in 1976, World Journal is the largest Chinese newspaper in North America. One of the few U.S. daily newspapers distributed on a national basis, World Journal is published by independent operations in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Texas, Vancouver and Toronto.

    The newspaper publishes between 64 and 128 pages daily, depending on the edition, 365 days a year. Coverage of the World Journal highlights important international, U.S. and Canada, economic, and political news with special emphasis on news from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia and local Chinese communities. The World Journal also features sports, entertainment, finance, literature, forum, children's world, home, technology, health and medicine and consumer and business news.
